Our League Rules
East Atlanta Baseball plays by official Little League rules, with a small set of division-specific adjustments to fit our fields, our schedule, and the developmental goals of each age group.

Official Little League Rules
As a Little League program, EAB follows the official Little League Baseball rulebook for playing rules, equipment, pitch counts, and safety. Anything not specifically addressed in our division documents below defaults to Little League rules.
Division-Specific Rules
Each division has a short document covering where we deviate from the Little League rulebook. Coaches, umpires, and parents should read the one for their division.
Rules at a Glance
Deviations specific to our Major and Minor divisions, including game length, pitching, base running, and time limits as they apply at our fields.
T-Ball Rules
Our youngest division plays a simplified, development-first version of the game. This document covers how T-Ball games are structured and run at EAB.
How the rules fit together
- Start with the division document. If it addresses a situation, that’s the rule at EAB.
- Otherwise, Little League rules apply. The official rulebook governs everything the division document doesn’t cover.
- Questions on game day? The umpire’s ruling stands on the field. Bring any questions to your coach or the league after the game, never from the stands.
